This all-day program is the fourth in a series of Bible study seminars being presented in our diocese by the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology. The St. Paul Center does very good work and we highly recommend them.

Even though the new Professional Development requirement does not apply until fall of 2010, for any who attend this event, we will credit 6 hours toward his/her Professional Development. Attendees receive a completion form at the end of the event, and must forward a copy of this to our office in order to receive the 6 hours credit.

Background Check

Just an F.Y.I. for you - I talked with Joe Dianda yesterday afternoon
to advise him that both he and J need to have an FBI background check
done as soon as possible in order to be in compliance with Diocesan
directives. They both have a State BCI background check but after
talking with Vicki Fitts it was determined they will both need a FBI
background check done.

Hi Beth,
I received an e-mail yesterday from Mary Chalmers at the Diocesan
Office. She only shows an FBI background check dated 8/19/08 for
you. You have to have a State of Ohio background check in order to
be in compliance with the State of Ohio EdChoice Audit. They are
open every day from 9-4 so you can stop in after school to get this
done and you will need to take your drivers license.
